CoolNest is Sweetnight’s main memory foam line and the model that replaced its older 10-inch gel memory foam bed. It comes in 12, 14 and 16 inches. Every version starts with a 3D knit nylon cover, a PCMflux foam made with phase change material, then gel-infused memory foam and comfort foams over a five-zone high-density base.

Sweetnight puts the feel in the middle of its plush-to-firm scale, which we read as 5 out of 10. The faster PCMflux foam on top keeps it from feeling like quicksand, and the zoned base is firmer under the hips than at the shoulders.

Cooling is the selling point. Sweetnight says the system sleeps up to 8 degrees cooler, citing third-party lab data we have not seen, so treat the figure as the brand’s claim. The nylon cover does feel cool at first touch, which is more than most all-foam beds at this price offer.

A 12-inch Queen costs $399.99 on sweetnight.com, with a 100-night refund trial for orders placed there and a 10-year limited warranty.

Our verdict

Conclusion
“CoolNest is one of the better ways to get a cooling memory foam bed for under $500 in a Queen. If you want bounce or strong edges, the CoolNest Hybrid is worth the extra cost.”
