A 15.5-inch hybrid built for heavier sleepers, with zoned latex and tempered coils rated for 500 lb per sleeper.
The Saatva HD is designed for heavier bodies. Saatva rates it for up to 500 lb per sleeper, well above the 300 lb it states for its other models, and builds it 15.5 in (39 cm) tall.
The top is a 3-inch hand-tufted Euro pillow top under an organic cotton cover. Below it sits a layer of 5-zone natural latex certified to GOLS, high-density memory foam and a unit of tempered, individually wrapped coils made with recycled steel. The latex adds lift and resists body impressions, which matters more as weight goes up.
Saatva calls the feel medium-firm, 5 to 7 on its scale. Heavier back and stomach sleepers get firm support, and side sleepers still get cushioning from the pillow top. A lighter sleeper may find it firm and does not need the extra build.
A Queen costs $3,639, which includes white glove delivery and setup, the 365-night trial and the lifetime warranty. Check that your bed frame can carry a mattress of this weight.

“The Saatva HD is one of the few mainstream mattresses rated for 500 lb per sleeper, and it feels built for it. If you are a heavier sleeper and want a hotel-style pillow top that will not bottom out, it is worth the price. Lighter sleepers get more comfort for less money from the Classic.”
