Puffy Lux Hybrid Mattress reviewed

The Puffy Lux adds height and coils to the Cloud recipe. Its 12-inch (30 cm), eight-layer build has a silky quilted cover with Tencel fibers, a Plush Contouring layer, the gel Cooling Cloud foam, Cloud Comfort foam, Contour-Adapt wrapped coils and a Firm Core base.

Puffy calls the feel medium-plush, which we rate 4 out of 10. The thicker foam stack lets shoulders and hips sink in, and the coils underneath give back some bounce and stop the soft top from feeling bottomless. That suits side sleepers and people who change position at night; stomach sleepers will want something firmer.

The coil layer also lets air move through the mattress, so it sleeps a little cooler than the all-foam Cloud. Puffy rates it for 350 lbs per side on Queen and larger sizes.

As with all Puffy beds, the list price of $1,549 for a Queen is only the starting point: an automatic code at checkout cuts it sharply, and during the October 2026 promotion Puffy even offered a free upgrade to the Royal. The trial lasts 365 nights and the warranty is lifetime.
