The Aurora Luxe is the Brooklyn Bedding cooling hybrid. It stands 13.25 in (34 cm) tall, or 14.5 in with the optional pillow top, and you choose between a soft, medium and firm version at the same price.

Cooling runs through the build: a GlacioTex cover that feels cool to the touch, a 1.5-inch VX foam infused with copper particles, then 1-inch HD memory foam and a Variflex transition layer. Underneath sit 8-inch Ascension zoned coils, up to 1,032 in the larger sizes, over a supportive base foam.

Pick the soft version if you sleep on your side, medium if you change positions or sleep on your back, and firm for stomach sleeping or a heavier body. The coils and copper foam make it a sensible choice if you wake up warm on foam beds.

A Queen costs $1,999 before the sitewide code. It is assembled in Phoenix, ships free and comes with a 365-night trial and a limited lifetime warranty.

Our verdict

Conclusion
“The Aurora Luxe is the Brooklyn Bedding pick for hot sleepers, with cooling built into the cover and the foams rather than sold as an add-on. The three firmness options make it easy to match to your sleeping position. If you do not sleep hot, the Signature Hybrid gives a similar build for less.”
