Who Brooklyn Bedding is

Brooklyn Bedding says it has been making mattresses since 1995. It was started by brothers John and Rob Merwin and builds its mattresses in its own factory in Phoenix, Arizona, from foreign and domestic components. In 2021 the company and Helix Sleep were bought by Cerberus, and the group was renamed 3Z Brands in 2023, as Bedding News Now reported.

Lineup

The best-known model is the Plank Firm, a flippable all-foam mattress with a firm side and an extra-firm side. The Signature Hybrid is the mid-priced hybrid in soft, medium and firm, and the Aurora Luxe adds a copper-infused foam and a cooling cover on zoned coils. The brand also sells the Titan line for heavier sleepers, RV mattresses and a range of other hybrids.

Trial, warranty and shipping

On brooklynbedding.com mattresses come with a 365-night trial, which you can use once and only after 30 nights, a limited lifetime warranty and free shipping. The site lists GREENGUARD Gold and CertiPUR-US certification for its mattresses.

Prices and discounts

A sitewide code is running most of the time, usually around 25% off. Our pages store the regular price shown on the product before any code, so the checkout total is often lower. Walmart also carries some Plank models.

Who Brooklyn Bedding suits

Brooklyn Bedding is a good fit if you want a factory-direct hybrid at a lower price than the big showroom brands and know which firmness you need. Most models come in soft, medium and firm, so you can match the mattress to your sleeping position. If you want an organic or latex bed, look at Birch, its sister brand, instead.
