The Siena Signature 10″ Memory Foam is the model behind most searches for a Siena mattress. It is a four-layer foam bed: a breathable top fabric, 2 inches of memory foam infused with charcoal, a stability foam base and a durable cover, 10 inches (25 cm) in total.

Siena labels the feel medium-firm and we rate it 6 out of 10. The memory foam gives a light contour and the base keeps you level, which suits back sleepers and people of average weight. Heavier sleepers and side sleepers will reach the firmer base quickly, so the comfort is good rather than generous.

Siena does not publish foam densities, and with an all-foam build of this height you should not expect strong cooling or edge support. Motion isolation, on the other hand, is good, as on most memory foam beds.

The price is the point. A Queen lists at $329 and a Twin at $199. The trial is 180 nights and the warranty 10 years, shorter than at Nectar but fair for the money. Siena says the foams are CertiPUR-US certified and the mattress is fiberglass-free.

Our verdict

Conclusion
“For a guest bed, a dorm or a tight budget, the Siena 10" does the job for very little money. If it will be your main bed for years, a thicker mattress with better pressure relief is worth the extra cost.”
