The TEMPUR-Cloud is the only Tempur-Pedic mattress that ships compressed in a box. It is 10 inches (25 cm) tall and stacks a TEMPUR comfort layer and a TEMPUR support layer over a foam base, under a knit cover. A Medium Hybrid version swaps part of the foam for more than 1,000 coils.

Both versions share one medium feel. TEMPUR material softens with warmth and pressure, so you sink in slowly and the foam holds your shape, which is the feel the brand is known for. If you prefer to sleep on top of a bouncy surface, the hybrid is the better pick.

A Queen costs $1,999, which puts the Cloud well below the Adapt collection. The trade-off is less height and fewer material layers, and the Cloud is delivered by UPS to your door, without the in-home setup the other models offer.

Like the rest of the range, it comes with a 90-night trial (returns refunded minus the return shipping fee) and a 10-year limited warranty.

Our verdict

Conclusion
“The Cloud is the cheapest way to get the slow, hugging TEMPUR feel, and it arrives in a box you can carry upstairs. It is thinner and plainer than the Adapt models, so heavier sleepers and people who want more push-back should look one step up.”
