The Siena Signature 12" adds a comfort foam layer to the 10-inch model for a softer, medium feel at a budget price.
The Signature 12″ is the cushioned version of Siena’s best-known mattress. It keeps the breathable top, 2 inches of charcoal-infused memory foam and the stability foam base of the 10-inch model and adds an extra comfort foam layer, which brings it to five layers and 12 inches (30 cm).
Siena describes it as medium with more cushioned support, and we rate it 5 out of 10. The extra foam is what side sleepers notice: the shoulder sinks in further before it meets the base, so the 12-inch is the better Siena for anyone who sleeps on their side. Stomach sleepers will prefer the firmer 10-inch.
As with the 10-inch model, Siena does not publish densities, and an all-foam build holds heat. Motion isolation is the strong point, which helps couples.
A Queen lists at $379, only a small step above the 10-inch version. You get the same 180-night trial and 10-year warranty, and Siena states that the foams are CertiPUR-US certified and the mattress is fiberglass-free.
