The Saatva Memory Foam Hybrid is the Saatva answer to boxed foam hybrids: memory foam on top, individually wrapped coils underneath and an 11.5 in (29 cm) profile. Saatva rates the feel as medium, 5 to 7 on its scale.
The comfort layers use AirCradle memory foam with a gel-infused lumbar crown in the center to keep your hips from sinking too far. The organic cotton blend cover uses a LuxeCool triple-phase material that Saatva says pulls heat away, a real point for a memory foam bed. The wrapped coils below add airflow and keep a partner from feeling every move.
This model suits side sleepers and couples who want pressure relief at the shoulders and hips. Back sleepers are fine on it too. Stomach sleepers will usually sink in too far, and people who change position often may find memory foam slow.
