The DreamCloud Classic Hybrid is a firm 12-inch hybrid with a quilted euro top and pocketed coils, priced for value.
The Classic Hybrid is DreamCloud’s original mattress and its entry model. It is 12 inches (30 cm) tall and built in six layers: a quilted CloudQuilt euro top with two thin foam layers, 1 inch of memory foam, a responsive support foam, individually wrapped coils and a high-density foam base with reinforced edges.
DreamCloud describes the feel as firm, and we rate it 8 out of 10. The quilted top softens the first touch, but you rest on the mattress rather than in it. That makes it a good fit for back and stomach sleepers and for heavier people who want their hips held up. Side sleepers may feel pressure at the shoulder.
The coils give it bounce and airflow, so it sleeps cooler and is easier to move on than a firm foam bed. DreamCloud reinforces the perimeter with a high-density foam base.
A Queen lists at $699, the same level as the Nectar Classic foam model, with DreamCloud’s 365-night trial and Forever Warranty. DreamCloud says the mattress is fiberglass-free and its foams are CertiPUR-US certified.

“The DreamCloud Classic is a good-value firm hybrid with a more upscale look than its price suggests. Back and stomach sleepers will like it; side sleepers should look at the DreamCloud Luxe Hybrid.”
