Level Two is Beautyrest’s core innerspring with a few upgrades over Level One. It keeps the 875-density pocketed coils and ActiveResponse memory foam, then adds SurfaceTouch gel memory foam quilted directly into the top and an InfiniCool cover that feels cool when you lie down.
You can choose extra firm, medium or plush, plus medium-firm and plush pillow tops. The extra firm model we describe sits around 9 out of 10 and suits back and stomach sleepers. Most side sleepers will be happier on the plush or a pillow top, which spread the pressure at the hip and shoulder.
The coils are less dense than in the World Class models, so support near the edge and under heavier sleepers is good rather than exceptional. Motion stays well contained thanks to the individually wrapped coils.
A Queen costs $1,099, with Kings noticeably more. You still get White Glove delivery, removal of your old mattress and the 100-night trial, which is generous at this price.
