Lullaby Earth coupons & offers

The brand in short

Lullaby Earth sells crib, mini crib and kids mattresses online. It belongs to Naturepedic, the Ohio maker of organic mattresses, and is that company’s lower-priced line for parents who want a firm, flat crib mattress without polyurethane foam but do not need organic certification. The lineup is short: the Breathe Safe and Gentle Start crib mattresses, a Breathe Safe mini crib mattress and the Dream Easy kids mattress (Lullaby Earth homepage).

What sets it apart from Naturepedic

Lullaby Earth keeps the safety basics of the parent brand: no vinyl or PVC, no polyurethane foam, no chemical flame retardants, a waterproof surface and reinforced edges. The materials are synthetic rather than organic cotton, which is why the Breathe Safe costs $299 against $459 for Naturepedic’s Breathable Ultra. The Breathe Safe carries EWG VERIFIED status and the brand says an independent lab, Intertek, rated its breathability in the highest category (Breathe Safe product page).

Trial, warranty and shipping

Crib mattresses come with a 100-night risk-free trial, free returns, free shipping in the continental U.S. (usually 1 to 3 business days) and a lifetime limited warranty. For a newborn, the firm infant side is the one to use; switch to the cushion-firm toddler side once your child is past the baby stage.

The CPSC advises a firm, flat crib mattress that fits the crib with no gaps and nothing else in it, and Lullaby Earth says its crib mattresses follow that guidance. Check the inside dimensions against the 27 1/4 by 51 5/8 inch mattress before ordering.
