The Premier Hybrid is the coil version of the Premier. Under a quilted cooling cover it has 2 inches of memory foam and 2 inches of support foam, then 8 inches of individually wrapped coils on a 1-inch foam base, for 13 inches (33 cm) in total.

Nectar calls it medium and we agree, at 6 out of 10. The memory foam gives a soft first layer that eases pressure at the shoulder and hip, then the coils take over with a springy push. It is the most even-handed model in the range: side sleepers get enough cushion, back sleepers enough lift.

The coil core gives it two practical advantages over the foam Premier: air flows through the mattress, so it stays cooler, and the coil unit gives the perimeter more structure than a foam core. Motion transfer is a little higher than on an all-foam bed, but the wrapped coils keep it moderate.

A Queen lists at $1,199 at Nectar’s regular price, with the brand’s 365-night trial and Forever Warranty.

Our verdict

Conclusion
“If you switch positions at night or sleep warm, the Premier Hybrid is the Nectar we would choose. It costs more than the Nectar Premier Memory Foam, and the cooler, more responsive feel is worth it.”
