The Ultra Plush Headboard is the Intex for guests who read, watch TV or scroll in bed. An inflatable headboard rises from the head end of an 18-inch (46 cm) Queen, so there is something to lean against, and it stops pillows from sliding onto the floor during the night.
The sleeping surface is a quilted, dual-layer top over Intex’s Fiber-Tech beams, with an edge and bottom ring that make the bed steadier when two people move around. The built-in electric pump fills it in about five minutes, and you set the firmness by how much air you pump in, from soft for a side sleeper to firm for a back sleeper.
Intex rates it for 600 lb, so two adults fit comfortably. The bed is PVC with a flocked top, which means it neither traps heat like dense memory foam nor breathes like a spring mattress; a cotton sheet keeps it comfortable for most sleepers.
It is only sold as a Queen, at $89.99 on intexcorp.com, with a 1-year limited warranty. The headboard adds a little length and bulk, so measure the room and the closet you will store it in.
