Who makes Leesa mattresses

Leesa started selling online in 2015 and, by its own account, was one of the first brands to ship a mattress compressed in a box. In 2023 it joined 3Z, a group of sleep brands. Most of its products are designed, assembled and shipped from the company factory in Phoenix, Arizona, and each mattress is made to order rather than pulled from a warehouse.

Leesa has been the exclusive mattress supplier of West Elm since 2017, and its beds also sell through Pottery Barn stores, so you can try several models in person before ordering online. The company says it has donated more than 43,000 mattresses to people in need.

The range at a glance

The lineup splits into all-foam and hybrid models, with a kids mattress sized for bunk beds. The store runs frequent sales, so the price you pay is usually well under the list price.

Materials, trial and warranty

Recent Leesa mattresses use GreenFlex, a plant-based foam the brand says is 26% biobased under the USDA BioPreferred program. The foams are CertiPUR-US certified, the mattresses carry GREENGUARD Gold certification and the fire barrier is made without fiberglass. Every mattress comes with a 365-night trial, free shipping and a limited lifetime warranty.

Our test of the range weighs construction, published lab results, size-by-size prices and the return terms. The Original remains the easiest place to start, while the hybrids cost more for extra bounce and edge support.
