Who Helix is

Helix Sleep started in 2014 as an online mattress company that asked buyers a few questions about how they sleep and matched them to a mattress. Since 2021 it has belonged to the same group as Brooklyn Bedding, renamed 3Z Brands in January 2023, according to Bedding News Now. Its mattresses are assembled in Phoenix, Arizona, in the group factory.

How the lineup is organized

Helix names each core model after a time of day and ties it to a sleeping position. Midnight is the medium hybrid for side sleepers, Dawn is the firm option for back and stomach sleepers, and Twilight, Dusk, Sunset and Moonlight fill in the other combinations. Each model comes as a Core version and as more padded Luxe and Elite versions with zoned coils and pillow tops. Helix Plus is built for plus-size sleepers, and Helix Kids is a flippable mattress with a firmer side for young children and a softer side for older kids.

Trial, warranty and shipping

Helix mattresses come with a 365-night sleep trial and a limited lifetime warranty, and they ship free in a box by FedEx Ground. The year-long trial is recent: 3Z Brands moved Helix, Bear and Leesa to one-year trials, up from 120 nights, while toppers and the crib mattress keep 120 nights. The foams are CertiPUR-US certified and the brand says its mattresses are fiberglass free.

Prices and discounts

Helix runs sitewide promo codes for much of the year, typically worth 20% to 30% off the list price; during Sleep Week 2026, for example, Tom’s Guide reported 27% off all mattresses. No Helix code is listed here right now, so check the banner on helixsleep.com before you pay. Prices shown are before any promo code.

Who should buy Helix

Helix suits you if you know how you sleep and want a boxed hybrid tuned to it. Side sleepers who like a plush top should start with the Helix Midnight Luxe, at $2,498.75 for a Queen before a code, and fans of a firm bed with the Helix Dawn. Skip Helix if you want to lie on the mattress in a store first: it sells almost only online.
