Who is behind Lucid

Lucid is a sleep brand based in Logan, Utah, which is the address its store terms give for the business. According to its own timeline, Lucid made its first 100 mattresses in 2010, which puts it among the early bed-in-a-box sellers, added toppers in 2011 and became an Amazon bestseller in 2016. In 2020 it began selling an exclusive SureCool mattress through Target, and by 2022 it counted more than 250,000 five-star reviews.

What Lucid sells

The mattress range on lucidmattress.com is all foam and built around gel memory foam with a bamboo charcoal infusion in the top layer. The models differ mainly in height and feel:

All three use foam that Lucid says meets CertiPUR-US standards, and the product images of The Original and the Premium carry a “Made in USA with U.S. and global parts” badge. Lucid also sells toppers, three adjustable bases (L150, L300, L600), pillows, protectors and comforters, and in October 2026 it was taking pre-orders for a new Lucid Blue collection.

Trial, warranty and shipping

Mattresses bought on lucidmattress.com come with a 100-night trial counted from delivery, but Lucid asks you to sleep on the bed for at least 30 nights before you start a return. The limited warranty runs 10 years and only covers mattresses bought in the United States. Shipping is free. If you buy on Amazon or another marketplace, that store’s return policy applies instead of Lucid’s, which is worth knowing before you choose where to order.

Who Lucid is for

Lucid makes sense if you want a simple, cheap foam mattress from a brand with a long track record and an easy return path. It does not sell hybrids with coils under its own name, so if you need the bounce and edge support of springs, look elsewhere.
